Soil and Soul Foundation is a transparent & credible organization registered as a Public Charitable Trust, operating out of India (Registration No # 399/2017-18).  We are fully compliant to the governance norms as prescribed by the Government.

 

Our stated objectives are:

 

• To promote the cause of natural, sustainable community based livelihood and living using locally available natural resources and indigenous skills with the focus on simple living, natural farming, bio-diversity, sustainable ecosystem and community participation

• To set up, finance assist or in any other way support one or more educational research and experimental institutes to initiate, undertake and promote scientific and technical investigations, experiments, research, developments, certification and publications

• To implement and aid activities for skill development for setting up training-cum-production facilities for entrepreneurship

• To conduct workshops, seminars, awareness programs to further propagate and promote the objective of the trust

• To act as a nodal agency for other regional, state, national and international government and non-government organizations

• To set up chapters, branches and centers of the Trusts in different parts of the country

 

Soil  and Soul Foundation is registered under 12AA of Income Tax act, 1961 (Reg No # Bangalore/12AA/2019-20/A/10760). All our books are completely audited and our returns are filed periodically. Our  Permanent Account No is AAUTS6917Q.

 

We accept donations from Indian Citizens in Indian currency (INR) only. Our application for providing tax exemptions to our donors under Section 80G is currently under process.
